Professional Management Unit

Our activities are closely aligned with the foundation’s mission. We are therefore strongly committed to the management of human resources as a research and innovation service in the province of Seville.
Our Professional Management Unit strives to provide support and administrative assistance for R&D&I to candidates and personnel, optimising the resources available to us as much as possible.
Our Professional Management Unit strives to ensure that the research groups have the appropriate human resources to carry out the scientific and technical activities required to develop of their lines of research, projects or services. To do so, in coordination with the Project Management Unit, it provides advice on recruitment costs, the management of public employment calls and the monitoring of the selection processes in accordance with the principles of equality, merit, competence and openness.
We support the personnel hired throughout their working life at the foundation, from the moment they join until they leave the organisation. We manage each and every one of the specific HR processes: recruitment, remuneration, risk prevention, the equality plan and harassment protocol, training plan, leave and time sheets, certifications, advice on rights and duties, as well as employee termination.

We have various work procedures, safety rules, work instructions, etc., including the Harassment Protocol, the main aim of which is to distinguish between cases of harassment (either moral and sexual, on grounds of sex, sexual orientation and identity or gender expression or sexual characteristics) and those temporary interpersonal conflicts that occur at a specific time. The distinction is that the latter situations may arise as part of human interaction and which affect the organisation of work and its development, but which are not intended to cause personal or professional harm to the parties involved in the conflict.
In each and every area of FISEVI’s activity, from recruitment to promotion, including wage policy, training, working and employment conditions, occupational health, working time management and work-life balance, we are committed to the principle of equality between women and men, paying particular attention to indirect discrimination.
